Text Box: What is a S.T.A.R. Binder? A S.T.A.R. Binder is a special binder that your child will carry to and from school everyday this year. S.T.A.R. is an acronym for Students Take Active Responsibility The S.T.A.R. Binder will help your child stay organized and keep you in touch with our classroom. S.T.A.R. Rules: Take care of your S.T.A.R. ; it will be used all year! Clean out the classwork in the “Keep at Home” pocket every evening. Take your S.T.A.R. home everyday and bring it back each morning. Keep your S.T.A.R. clean Show your S.T.A.R. to your parents everyday - they will be so proud of your new responsibility! S.T.A.R. Don’ts: Don't make any marks or drawings in or on your S.T.A.R. Don't leave S.T.A.R. at home, in the car or bus, or at daycare. Don't let anyone borrow your S.T.A.R. or tear pages out of your S.T.A.R.
